![]() I was hoping I could use simple Ribbon XML like this where I reference a builtin idMso but apply a custom icon to it: ![]() ![]() Somehow apply a custom icon to the 'button idMso' - maybe 'getImage' would work? CommandBars.FindControl(ID:=1715).Execute Plus some controls work and some don't ie. The problem is CommandBars are deprecated in Word 2016 (mac) and Microsoft recommend not to use it. Sub DO_Accept_Change(control As IRibbonControl)ĬommandBars.FindControl(ID:=1715).Execute Use VBA 'CommandBars' to call the inbuilt control and then apply a custom icon, like this: I have tried two methods to workaround this issue in the So I decided to create custom icons to use instead. I am having a problem where two inbuilt icons are not showing showing up in Word 2016 (mac) even though they show up correctly in Word 2013 (PC). I'm using Ribbon xml and the custom UI editor on Word 2013 (PC) to do the development and then I test on Word 2016 for mac. I am currently customising the ribbon for MS Word 2016 (mac).
